The Ride for Chelsey
On Friday, October 26, 2007, Chelsey Mitchell was on her way to join her youth group for lunch when she was critically injured in a car accident. The severe, life threatening injuries necessitated a long stay for Chelsey at Spartanburg Regional Hospital.

As of April 2008, Chelsey is recuperating at home, but she has a long way to go with her intensive rehabilitation therapy and continuing medical treatment.

This medical care is extremely expensive for her parents, Billy and Missie Mitchell.

The Greater Inman Community, the City of Inman, The Greater Inman Chamber of Commerce and, primarily responsible for making the Ride for Chelsey happen, the Foothills Thunder Motorcycle Club came together for the April 19, 2008, Community Event at Chapman High School and raised funds for the Mitchell family and their daughter's care.

So that both donors, friends, and the community overall may keep apprised of Chelsey Mitchell's medical progress and recuperation on an on-going basis, please click here and visit CaringBridge.org.
