Harvest Day 2011
30 years ago, a group of people were discussing ways to encourage people to come to Inman. Their idea was to have a Harvest Festival. From humble beginnings, Inman Harvest Festival has grown to be an amazing event. 2011 saw the Norfolk Southern Exhibit Car, 92 vendor spaces filled, food vendors on Blackstock Rd, a display from Foothills Power Association and amusements on Bishop St. Carolina Panthers Sir Purr and the Chapman Panther paid a visit.Various entertainers performed throughout the Festival area. Businesses have given positive feedback about shoppers coming in and returning after the Festival. We all feel that if people come and visit, they will discover that Inman has many special reasons to make it a destination or home. The Chamber strives to put emphasis on the many businesses that welcome people throughout the year while placing emphasis on the Festival, also.Thank you to all that were part of making our 30th Anniversary a true celebration.
